Royal Icing

Ingredients
- 4 cups (520 g) Powdered Sugar
- 3 tbsp. (27 g) Meringue Powder
- 5-8 tbsp. (74-120 mL) Water
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, place all ingredients starting with the smallest amount of water.
- Using the whisk attachment, whisk ingredients to combine.
- Add more water until mixture forms the consistency of a regular buttercream frosting.
- At this point place the mixer on medium high and whisk for 5 minutes. Icing should double in size and be very thick.
- If too thick for your use, add a little water at a time while mixing until it reaches the desired consistency.
- If too thin for your use, add a little powdered sugar at a time while mixing until it reaches the desired consistency.
